The successful candidate has experience in molecular biology/genetics and a strong track record (5+ years) of development and performance of complex laboratory protocols. Responsibilities of the position include the highest quality of NextGen sequencing, efficient troubleshooting, novel methods development, identification and adaptation of new technologies and new test development. In the context of the collaborative R&D Division, the (scientist) will participate in experimental design, experimental execution, analyses and co-authoring of manuscripts. Experience in a diagnostic laboratory is required.
Previous experience in NextGen sequencing is not required, training will be provided.
A Bachelors Degree is required. An MS in Genetics or PhD is preferred but not required.
