Airline trade group predicts 2009 loss of $11B
An airline trade group expects the industry to lose $11 billion worldwide in 2009, with losses continuing into next year.
The International Air Transport Association had been expecting a smaller loss of $9 billion this year. But airlines lost $6 billion in the first half alone.
